I liked this book because it was funny. When Mya's mom and dad went out she tried to help clean her house but she made a big mess. Mya put too much bubbles in the bathtub and she fed her hamsters too much food until they got fat. I thought her mom and dad was going to bed mad when they saw all the mess Mya made but they gave her a big hug instead. I laughed while I was reading this story. I want to read more Mya books!
LaDonna draws inspiration for her book ideas from several typical parenting routines: watching her children play or argue, overhearing them sing or talk, and listening to all the amazing ideas, concerns, and requests that they come up with. LaDonna and her husband reside in New York and have four wonderful children, all with intriguing and different personalities, like the characters she creates in her storybooks.
