"Honey in The Woods”

“Honey in The Woods” is a great children’s book with so many important lessons in it. In the book, Honey wanders off into the woods and meets Baby Bear and they become friends. Although Honey’s mother warned her not to wander off or talk to strangers, Honey felt comfortable with Baby Bear and went into his house. Honey and Baby Bear laughed, ate, and had so much fun that they feel asleep. When Baby Bear’s older brother and sister decided to play a mean prank on Honey and Baby Bear that is when she realized why it is so important to listen to her mother. I feel like this was a good book because It teaches kids how important it is to obey their parents, why it’s not safe to wander off, why talking to strangers is dangerous even if they seem nice, and why learning other languages is a good idea.

“Honey in The Woods” is the first coloring story book that I've ever read. Being able to color the story as you read it really helps you feel like you’re a part of the story. This is a great book and good way for parents to show their children what can happen if they don't listen.
