Sophie and Scooter is an awesome story about Scooter the calf and Sophie the Sheep, who become friends even though they are both very different. The story shows how two animals, who are completely opposite, accept each other and care for each other throughout the story. What made the story even better is knowing that it is a true story. This story really shows that if two animals who are different can be friends and accept each other, humans can do it too. Even though the book is about animals, I think this book can help children learn to appreciate others even though are different colors or religions. I think we need more books just like this and I can't wait to read more books from the author.
