"The Key Is Me" is a great inspirational story for kids. The story teaches kids that being great starts within them. I like how the the story sounds like a poem and it the illustration have characters from different races. The story is not very long but it sends a positive message to kids that you are the key to your own destiny.

About the book

THE KEY IS ME" is a story of Inspiration that teaches children how important it is to have faith, confidence, and always believe in themselves. Our children are our future. They begin to learn as they grow older that they are the key component towards becoming- the greatest change this world needs.

About the author

Freda Camille has been writing poetry since age 11. At that time, she would journal and always write poems as a channel or way to release her feelings, and escape reality. Mostly her poetry was about love or an experience she had encountered. Sometimes she would write a poem dedicated to a family member, about life, or something that someone requested for his or her own purpose. After the death of her mother in 1998, she gave her life totally to Jesus Christ and used her writings as a way to deal with the loss. God took over her thoughts and pen, and her poetry became Spirit led. She self-published her first edition of The Storms Caused My Faith in January 2005. This creative approach, using her personal testimony, is an attempt to reach many people who need help or instruction on how to deal with everyday life situations. This also offers the chance for individuals to restore or begin a relationship with Jesus Christ.

When asked: What is different this time around? “Everything… Me, the process… I wasn’t ready for it the first time… the exposure, the questions, the answers, transparency… being Free… I was still trapped inside of myself trying to escape the pain; trying to get out of my beautifully hidden misery. It is weird to explain. I did not have a full understanding of what I was doing or even what it is or was that I was beholding… a gift not just a hobby… for the world to embrace… it was not about me anymore… it was a process I had to go through to understand that this is something the Lord blessed me with to be a voice for and heal others. The most important part of it all… I had to heal first… My major expectation of the book is for it to provide words of life and inspiration to the reader. It will give them the opportunity to be fed the Word of God and be ministered to. This also offers the chance for individuals to restore or begin a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Storms Caused My Faith generates feelings of comfort, enlightment and alleviation of worries, doubt, and pain. There are so many people who are saved and are still going through many trials and tribulations in their lives that leave them feeling defeated. We sometimes misconstrue that when we are saved we are trouble free. However, this is not so. We are still human, and we all need some sort of encouragement to help us to see the light in dark situations.
