Review: The Crimefighters Defenders of Justice (The Heroes stop a bully)

The Crimefighters Defenders of Justice (The heroes stop a bully) is a cool book. The book is about a bully named Bruno who uses his size to scare and bully younger kids. A group of kids are playing soccer and the ball lands near Bruno. The bully refuses to give the kids their ball back even when they asked him nicely. Bruno pushes one of the kids to the ground when they tried to get their ball back. The kids later call the crimefighters to help them with Bruno the bully. The crimefighters come to the kids rescue with tons of gadgets to help save the day. I like that fact that the author added some things into the book to make the story more exciting to read. For instance, the crimefighters shot Bruno with a tranquilizer dart, and they also threw handcuff hooks at him to stop him from hurting other kids. This book is entertaining and it also teaches kids a few things, including what to do if you're being bullied, what stranger danger is, and it even introduces kids to first aid. I would recommend this book to other kids.

Chris McClean is a graphic designer and short-story writer. He created the CrimeFighters: Defenders of Justice, which is a group of diverse super heroes that work together to fight crime. Along with writing fun short stories for younger audiences, he also works with various non-profit organizations to feed the homeless and work with delinquent children. Chris spent over five years in law-enforcement and uses his experience and education to demand his young readers' attention with realistic scenarios throughout his stories. Chris McClean was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is where Chris spends most of his time giving back to those in need.
